Our story so far
The journey
Four releases of one product, from the first CAD in Q4 2025 to 4.0 on October 1, 2026.
1.0, Q4 2025
Launch.
A CAD that ran. That was enough.
The first public CDE CAD: a single-tenant CAD/MDT system with the basics wired together. The goal was simple - ship something that could run a roleplay community without crashing, and iterate from there.
- Police MDT with civilian, vehicle, and weapon lookups.
- Live dispatcher dashboard with real-time updates over Socket.io.
- Civilian portal with characters, vehicles, and a 911 panel.
- Discord OAuth login as the default sign-in path.
- Initial FiveM bridge for plate locks and panic relays.
2.0, Early 2026
The platform release.
Every community got its own copy.
CDE CAD became a multi-community hosted platform. Each server got its own branding, plan, member roster, and subdomain. The first community admin panel landed alongside the platform split, and the foundation for everything since was set.
- Multi-community platform: per-community branding, plans, members, and subdomains.
- First community admin panel: members, roles, departments, and integrations.
- Police, EMS, and fire MDTs with civilian / vehicle / weapon lookups.
- Real-time dispatcher dashboard backed by Socket.io.
- Reports & charges engine: custom field schemas, charge classes with points and jail time, PDF export.
- Civilian portal: characters, vehicles, businesses, properties, licenses, and a 911 panel.
- LiveMap of active calls and units with status filtering.
- Discord OAuth login, role-based permissions sourced from a guild, and the first webhooks (report, call, BOLO).
- Initial FiveM bridge for plate locks and panic relays.
- Stripe-backed plan management (proxied billing).
3.0, May 5, 2026
Dispatch, judicial, billing and sign-in, rewritten.
Eight new product surfaces in 90 days.
Ninety days of work between February and May 2026. Substantial rewrites of dispatch, judicial, billing, and authentication, plus eight brand-new product surfaces and a rebuild of the community admin panel.
- Wire pro dispatcher (DashboardPage4) with quadrant layout and pop-outs - preview, ships shortly after 3.0.
- Department hubs with autosaved docs, version history, doc templates, .docx import, audit, and announcements.
- Revamped community admin panel: 20,000+ lines of code - branding, integrations, webhooks, and a department designer.
- Banking admin + civilian panel with offshore anonymity, in-game writes, business payouts, and recurring invoices.
- Reports rebuilt around the dispatch quadrant; new FTO panel; witness portal.
- Judicial v2 with full JudicialCase model, hearings calendar, and a disciplinary portal.

4.0, October 1, 2026
Dispatch, radio and the community home.
Dashboards from one catalog, and an AI dispatcher on the radio.
Everything that shipped between May and October 2026: new dispatch consoles and MDTs, call priorities and statuses each community defines, a radio with an AI dispatcher, and a rebuilt community home.
- A dashboard catalog with snapshots, a picker, and a dashboard lock per community, department or role.
- CDEPremier Client, Dispatch and Mobile; CDE Wire and CDE Flex dispatch consoles; the live map inside every MDT.
- Call priorities past 5, a default priority per call type, and custom call statuses.
- A P25-style radio in the CAD and in game, with an AI dispatcher that sends a set number of units per call type or priority.
- ALPR cameras whose hit photos are attached to the call they raise.
- A community home with department cards, Play on your server and a month calendar; feature gates and Discord log servers.
- Per-type warrant approvals, warrant report templates, and licence number formats per licence type.
- A rebuilt /start wizard with a state, county and city department picker; Stripe links in billing emails; French.
What's next
None of these are promises. Just where the roadmap is pointing.
Federated dispatch
Linked communities share dispatch context: cross-jurisdiction calls, unit transfers, mutual-aid views. Roadmap pointer, not a promise.
Discord role grants, tested on a live server
Academy role grants and department webhook posts are tested against a stand-in for Discord. Next is a run against a real server: the bot's role placed above the role it grants, and mentions that cannot ping everyone.
Reduce transparency and increase contrast
Translucent bars and menus should follow those two settings on your device, with a solid background and a clear border. A few screens do today; most do not yet.
