Registration and Status Types
Active Registration
Vehicle registration is current and valid. The vehicle is legally authorized to operate on public roads.
Expired Registration
Registration has lapsed past renewal date. Operating with expired registration is a citable offense. CAD flags this automatically.
Suspended Registration
Registration administratively suspended due to unpaid fines, insurance lapse, or other regulatory issues.
Stolen
Vehicle reported stolen by the registered owner. Stolen flag appears prominently in plate lookups. BOLO is automatically generated.
Impounded
Vehicle towed and impounded by law enforcement. CAD tracks impound location and reclamation process.
Civilian Registration Process
Step 1: Character Association
The vehicle must be registered to a character (persona) in the CAD system with proper identification on file.
Step 2: Vehicle Details
Enter vehicle make, model, year, color, and VIN. The vehicle spawn code may also be recorded for FiveM reference.
Step 3: License Plate Assignment
A license plate number is assigned. Plates can be auto-generated or custom-entered. Becomes the primary search identifier.
Step 4: Insurance Verification
Proof of insurance is recorded. Operating without insurance is a citable offense. CAD flags uninsured vehicles during checks.
Step 5: Registration Activation
Once verified, registration is activated. The vehicle appears in the CAD database and can be looked up by officers.
