How to Set Up a 911 System for FiveM Servers
Guide to setting up a 911 dispatch system for FiveM servers. Call routing, priority levels, and response protocols.
911 System Architecture
The CDE CAD 911 system handles emergency calls from civilians and routes them to active dispatchers. Calls can be generated through the FiveM in-game integration or created manually by dispatchers. The system queues calls by priority, tracks response times, and maintains a complete log of all emergency communications.
Configuring Call Categories
Set up call categories that match your community roleplay scenarios. Common categories include criminal activity, traffic incidents, medical emergencies, fire incidents, and civil complaints. Each category can have a default priority level and suggested response protocol to guide dispatchers in handling calls efficiently.
Priority Level Configuration
Configure your priority levels from Code 1 through Code 4 or use a custom priority scheme. Code 1 typically represents non-emergency responses, while Code 4 indicates critical emergencies requiring immediate response from multiple units. Each priority level can have associated response time targets and unit minimums.
Routing Calls to Dispatchers
CDE CAD routes incoming 911 calls to available dispatchers. Configure whether calls go to a general queue or are routed to specific dispatchers based on the call type or geographic area. The system shows dispatchers a real-time queue of pending calls with priority indicators for quick triage.
Monitoring and Reporting
Track 911 system performance through the analytics dashboard. Monitor metrics like average response time, call volume by hour, resolution rates, and dispatcher workload distribution. Use these insights to optimize your dispatch operations and staffing levels for peak times.
