How to Process a DUI in FiveM Roleplay

Step-by-step DUI processing guide for FiveM roleplay. Field sobriety, reports, charges, and court referrals.

Identifying Impaired Driving

DUI processing in FiveM roleplay begins with identifying signs of impaired driving. Watch for erratic driving patterns, failure to maintain lane position, inconsistent speed, and delayed reactions to traffic signals. Once you initiate a traffic stop for suspected DUI, update your status in CDE CAD and request backup if necessary.

Conducting Field Sobriety Assessment

During the roleplay interaction, conduct a field sobriety assessment. Document your observations in real time using the CDE CAD notes feature. Record the suspect responses, physical demeanor, and any statements made. These details become critical evidence in your arrest report and any subsequent court proceedings.

Processing the DUI Arrest

If you determine probable cause exists for a DUI arrest, inform the suspect and place them under arrest. In CDE CAD, create an arrest report and select the appropriate DUI charges from your penal code. Document the specific observations that led to your probable cause determination in the narrative section.

Filing Charges and Reports

Complete the full arrest report with all required fields. Attach the field sobriety test results, any witness statements, and evidence documentation. CDE CAD allows you to add multiple charges if additional violations were discovered during the stop, such as driving on a suspended license or open container violations.

Court Referral Process

Serious DUI cases may require judicial review. CDE CAD judicial module allows you to submit cases for court hearing. The judge can review all attached documentation, schedule a hearing, and render a verdict. The entire process creates a paper trail that maintains accountability and realism in your roleplay community.
