How to Manage Characters in FiveM CAD System

Guide to managing characters in FiveM CAD. Creation, editing, linking, and character management features.

Character System Overview

CDE CAD character system allows players to create and manage multiple characters within your community. Each character has their own identity, criminal record, vehicle registrations, properties, and bank account. Characters are the foundation of the civilian experience and provide persistent identities for roleplay.

Creating New Characters

Players create characters through the civilian portal. They enter basic information including first name, last name, date of birth, gender, and physical description. Additional details like address, phone number, and emergency contact can be added to enrich the character profile and support officer lookups.

Linking Characters to Accounts

Each CDE CAD user account can have multiple characters linked to it. Players switch between characters depending on their current roleplay scenario. The system tracks which character is currently active for FiveM integration purposes, ensuring that in-game actions are attributed to the correct character.

Administrative Character Management

Admins can view and manage all characters in the community through the admin panel. Edit character details, merge duplicate records, flag characters for review, or delete inactive characters. The admin tools help maintain a clean and accurate character database.

Character Records and History

Each character accumulates a history over time including citations, arrests, court cases, property ownership, and vehicle registrations. This persistent history creates continuity across roleplay sessions and gives officers meaningful information during lookups.
