How to File Warrants in FiveM Judicial System
Guide to filing warrants in the FiveM judicial system. Search warrants, arrest warrants, and judge approval process.
Understanding Warrant Types
CDE CAD judicial system supports multiple warrant types including arrest warrants, search warrants, and bench warrants. Arrest warrants authorize the apprehension of a specific person. Search warrants authorize the search of a specific location or vehicle. Bench warrants are issued for failure to appear at a scheduled court hearing.
Preparing a Warrant Application
To file a warrant, navigate to the Judicial section in CDE CAD. Select the warrant type and complete the application form. For arrest warrants, specify the suspect, charges, and probable cause statement. For search warrants, detail the location to be searched, items sought, and the basis for believing evidence will be found there.
Submitting for Judicial Review
Once your warrant application is complete, submit it for judicial review. The application enters a queue visible to judges assigned to the judicial panel. Include all supporting documentation such as incident reports, witness statements, and evidence logs. A thorough application increases the likelihood of approval.
Judge Approval Process
Judges review warrant applications through the judicial dashboard. They can approve, deny, or request modifications to the application. Approved warrants become immediately active in the system. Officers are notified when their warrant applications are processed, and active warrants appear in person lookups across the MDT.
Executing and Resolving Warrants
When an officer encounters a person with an active warrant during a lookup, the system displays an alert. After executing the warrant, the officer marks it as served in the system with details about the arrest or search. The warrant record is updated and linked to any resulting reports or court cases.
