Security Center Overview
Login Attempt Tracking
Comprehensive login attempt tracking is the first line of defense in any security system. CDE CAD logs every single authentication event - successful or failed - and presents them in a paginated list supporting over 50 entries per page. This means you can scroll through weeks of login history without losing data or performance. Each log entry captures the username, IP address, timestamp, and result, giving you everything needed to spot anomalies and investigate incidents.
IP Blocking & Management
IP blocking is your most direct tool for stopping threats at the network level. When you identify a malicious IP through login tracking or suspicious activity alerts, you can block it immediately from the Security Center. Blocked IPs are denied access to the entire CAD system - they cannot log in, view pages, or interact with any API endpoints. The block takes effect instantly, cutting off the threat without delay.
User Banning System
When IP blocking is not enough - because a user switches IPs or the threat comes from an authenticated account - the user banning system provides account-level enforcement. Banning a user locks their account regardless of what IP they connect from. CDE CAD supports both temporary bans for corrective action and permanent bans for ongoing threats. Every ban is documented with a reason, creating a transparent record for appeals and consistent enforcement.
Threat Detection & Analytics
Raw security logs are useful, but patterns tell the real story. CDE CAD's threat detection engine calculates a threat score for suspicious activity based on multiple signals - failed login frequency, IP reputation, access time anomalies, and behavioral patterns. The analytics dashboard transforms this data into visual insights across three time windows. The activity feed surfaces the 50 most recent security events with priority flagging, ensuring critical alerts never get buried under routine entries.
Advanced Search & Filtering
When a security incident occurs, speed matters. CDE CAD's advanced search lets you cut through thousands of log entries to find exactly what you need in seconds. Whether investigating a specific user, tracing activity from a particular IP, or reviewing events from a defined time window, the search tools give you precision control. Combine multiple filters for complex queries, and use the user detail modal to drill into individual accounts without leaving the Security Center.
Data Export & Reporting
Security data is only as valuable as your ability to act on it outside the dashboard. CDE CAD supports full data export in both CSV and JSON formats, giving you flexibility to import security logs into spreadsheets, external analytics platforms, or archival systems. The export function covers login attempts, blocked IPs, banned users, and flagged activity.
