FiveM CAD Police MDT: The Officer's Complete Digital Workstation

Explore the CDE CAD Police MDT - the primary digital workstation for law enforcement officers. Real-time dispatch, civilian lookups, report writing, BOLO alerts, unit status management, and more.

What is the Police MDT?

The Mobile Data Terminal - or MDT - is the primary workstation for all law enforcement officers in CDE CAD. Think of it as the officer's digital command center. Every critical function that a patrol officer, detective, or supervisor needs is consolidated into one interface: real-time access to active dispatch calls, civilian and vehicle lookups, report writing tools, BOLO alerts, unit status management, and much more. The MDT is accessible through any standard web browser for desktop users, or through the in-game tablet overlay for officers who want to stay immersed in the roleplay environment. Whether you are running a traffic stop on the highway or processing a felony arrest at the station, the MDT is where the work gets done.

Dashboard Overview

When an officer logs into the MDT, the dashboard is the first thing they see. It is designed to give an immediate operational picture - what calls are active, which units are available, and what alerts require attention. Every element on the dashboard updates in real time so officers always have the latest information without refreshing the page.

Person & Vehicle Lookups

The lookup system is one of the most used features of the MDT. Officers can search by name, Social Security Number, license plate number, or phone number. Results are returned instantly and display everything the officer needs to make informed decisions during a traffic stop, field contact, or investigation. One-click access to the full civilian profile means officers can dive deeper when the situation demands it.

Report Writing

The MDT includes a comprehensive report writing system with over 30 report types available to officers. From routine traffic citations to detailed arrest reports and use of force documentation, every type of law enforcement report is covered. When an officer initiates a report, fields are auto-populated from the civilian search they already performed - no need to re-enter names, dates of birth, or vehicle information. Charges are linked directly from the penal code database, so officers select from a standardized list rather than typing charges manually.

Active Calls & Dispatch

The active calls panel gives officers a live view of every 911 call currently in the system. Each call displays the location, caller description, priority level, and which units are already assigned. Officers can self-assign to calls when they are nearby and available, or wait to be dispatched by a dedicated dispatcher. Once attached to a call, officers can add notes in real time - documenting what they find on scene, suspect descriptions, evidence collected, or actions taken.

Unit Status & Management

Managing unit status is critical for effective dispatch operations. The MDT makes it effortless with one-click status toggling. Officers can update their availability instantly so dispatch always knows who is available, who is busy on a call, and who is out of service. The system tracks department assignments and unit call signs, giving supervisors a clear picture of patrol coverage across the entire server.

BOLO Integration

Be On the Lookout alerts are integrated directly into the MDT so officers never miss critical suspect or vehicle information. When a new BOLO is created by dispatch or another officer, every logged-in MDT receives a real-time notification. Officers can browse the active BOLO list at any time, search by suspect description, license plate number, or vehicle details, and flag matches during traffic stops or field contacts.
